We stock a number items that are difficult to obtain, but can be very useful. The following descriptions are brief, pending photos & full details. If you require any further information, then please contact us.
CONDUCTIVE COUPLINGS
VIESSMANN. Produce a 2-pole conductive coupling based on the excellent Fleischmann Profi-Coupling (it can also be used with standard Profi-Couplings). It is designed to fit into the standard NEM pocket and comes with very flexible wires already attached. You can couple/uncouple in the normal fashion with these couplings. Very useful for coach lighting as you only require pick ups in one coach or you can power them from the locomotive itself.
ROCO. Produce a 4-pole conductive coupling. This fits into the standard NEM pocket and comes with very flexible wires already attached. However, with this type coupling/uncoupling has to be made manually. Very useful for multiple units as it can save the costs of installing another decoder when using DCC.
FLEISCHMANN. Produce a 2-pole conductive coupling for fitting into the standard NEM pocket. However, with this type coupling/uncoupling has to be made manually.
KROIS. The Krois coupling fits into the standard NEM pocket and is available in 2 types – the mk I & the mk II. They have a small electromagnetic coil to enable remote uncoupling anywhere on the layout. However, they can only be used with DCC and a suitable decoder.

OTHER ITEMS
